About us

A Ranqia was created to meet the growing demand from Bravium's clients for solutions capable of succeeding in the new market of agentic commerce. We are a company built on the foundation of more than 18 years of Bravium's experience supporting large organizations in their digital strategies, go-to-market, customer loyalty, B2B and B2C marketplaces, and D2C e-commerce. We combine this history with a team of experts and academics in generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, LLMs, SEO, traditional search engines, and generative engine optimization (GEO).

With the emergence of new AI-based search channels — such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, and others — users are rapidly migrating from traditional searches (Google, Bing) to searches made directly within agents. Gartner projects that by 2026, the volume of searches on Google will drop by 25%, and market estimates indicate that by the end of 2027, AI-driven searches will surpass traditional searches.

AI has already transformed consumer behavior. Research shows that more than 50% of consumers consult some AI tool before purchasing. These systems automatically identify the best prices, deadlines, recommendations, and comparisons, offering users highly accurate and personalized decisions based on their interests and history — already known by AI models.

In 2025, OpenAI launched a partnership with Stripe and, alongside other global players, created the Agentic Commerce Protocol, technology that underpins Instant Checkout on ChatGPT, enabling users to complete purchases directly in the chat. The pilot began in the US in 2025, with expansion planned for early 2026 to other countries.

In light of this new paradigm, Bravium — which already develops AI solutions in various markets — decided to create Ranqia, born as the largest specialist in agentic commerce and generative engine optimization in Latin America, with immediate operations in the 11 countries where Bravium already operates.

Just as SEO (Search Engine Optimization) emerged to optimize websites in traditional search engines, the advancement of AI has created a new discipline: GEO – Generative Engine Optimization, which aims to improve the ranking of brands, products, and services in responses generated by LLMs and agents. However, GEO is radically different from SEO, and many classical practices simply do not work in the context of AI searches.

After extensive applied research, Ranqia developed a GEO protocol and platform structured around four pillars:
